Materialism

Materialism refers to solidified human hallucination and mental conception
We live in a material and constructed world. Why do people envy certain countries and try to immigrate? It is the level of material development, and this comes from certain attitudes and ways of speaking.
Look at this German video about how to use a washing machine. It doesn’t add emotion to the voice through pitch variance, it is a set of rules about what to do to ensure its functioning.
Certain behaviors in the workplace: flirting, adding suggestion to words, or having variance on the pitch of speaking are cultural tendencies that lead to decreased material development.
Asks such as someone who “lives in the present,” “is funny,” is a sure way to become impoverished over time. The enjoyment of emotions is only reserved for those who have the excess to spend, yet by doing so they draw down rather than maintain that same excess.
Two street view places at random from India and Norway are a good analogy for certain countries and areas as a whole. While it has been remarked that certain places have good community feeling, it comes at the great cost of material development. Whether certain patterns of life and reaction are conceivable without the associated communication patterns, I do not know.
One thing I would like to stress is that the material constructs of past societies may not have reflected how people lived, and that just because someone has the trappings of material success such as housing and cars, does not mean they live a particularly satisfactory life due to the stresses placed upon them. The Minimum Standard talks about this.
